Johns Creek Veterans Memorial Walk

Spring 2015

The recently dedicated Johns Creek Memorial Walk at Newtown Park is entering into Phase II with the installation of new landscaping at the Main Entrance Plaza. Multiple enhancement projects will continue throughout 2015 aimed at turning the Veterans Memorial Walk into a "Park within Newtown Park" making the Memorial a contemplative venue to honor and reflect upon the sacrifices of our Veterans and those Men and Women still serving in our Armed Forces.............our future Veterans.

Landscaping will be the most expensive of the 5-part plan for Phase II, so fundraising is still very important for the JCVA to continue. If you’d like to help, click ‘Read More’ to access the donation link. The JCVA thanks you for your generosity and welcomes you to tour and enjoy the beautiful Memorial. They're also accepting new members in the Johns Creek Veterans Association - click here if you'd like to join!

*An additional note: Many thanks to Sammy Robinson of Memories Last Forever, Talapoosa, GA, who is graciosly replacing 1000 engraved pavers ar the Memorial that did not meet quality standards. The new pavers will be installed for each plaza in the months of Feb-April.
